MLS president’s reaction to Messi’s transfer to Inter Miami

The president of the American Soccer League (MLS) spoke about the transfer of Lionel Messi to Inter Miami.

Don Garber, the commissioner of the MLS North American league, pointed out the importance of Lionel Messi’s move to Inter Miami for the league.

Dan Garber noted: “Work is ongoing to complete the transfers.” We are waiting for the moment when we can make certain announcements. It’s exciting because the best player in the world chose our league.. I think it shows where MLS is on the soccer map and it also shows the ambition of Inter Miami.

Last month, Lionel Messi left Paris Saint-Germain and joined Inter Miami in the North American Football League.
